The department of Computer Science of Khana-e-Noor University launched an overwhelming celebration of Telecommunication day. The participants and chief guests of this overwhelming celebrating ceremony were from among governmental and non-governmental organizations and the widely-known philosopher and mathematician Sediq Afghan. The students displayed their handmade plane and how a robot works was a jaw-dropping event for all participants in the hall.

KNU signed an agreement with Seattle University USA to improve its educational services through collaboration for strengthening ties to promote cultural and scientific cooperation. The agreement between KNU and Seattle University will focus on student research activities, publications and students exchange programs in order to that students can contemporarily update themselves in accordance with the scope of time; hence, this agreement profoundly exerts magnitude of distinction of KNU with that of other private institutions in Afghanistan.
